Two Victorians will have the opportunity to represent their country at the upcoming Fast5 World Series, held in Melbourne, after being named in the squad, with another also named as a reserve.
Melbourne Vixens athletes, Kate Moloney and Tegan Philip have been named in the 10-player team to contest the international series.
Victorian, Emily Mannix was also originally named in the Australian Fast5 team, however was withdrawn due to her extended commitments with the Samsung Diamonds.
Mannix joins the Diamonds in the upcoming Constellation Cup after making her debut in the recent Quad Series.
Moloney and Philip will be joined by fellow Victorian and Vixen teammate, Chloe Watson at the pre-tournament training camp, held from 4-6 October, after she was named a reserve.
Netball Victoria is thrilled to see three players who have benefited from our pathway program, go on to represent their country in the very popular Fast5 tournament this year. We wish the whole team the very best of luck as they take on some of the world’s best netballers.
The Fast5 World Series will be held from 28-29 October at Hisense Arena, Melbourne.
