ONES TO WATCH
Championship
Both the Geelong Cougars and Boroondara Express Championship teams head into this clash undefeated. Geelong has had some close calls, winning their Round 2 match against Melbourne University Lightning by a single goal. Express will be full of confidence after a mammoth 47-goal win over Ariels last week.
Division 1
It’s been a battle of the shooters in Division 1, with a few players dominating the scoreboard. Abigail Gedge of North East Blaze will be looking to continue her good form against Waves, shooting 50 and 28 goals in her two appearances so far.
19/Under
With some of the tightest tussles of the competition so far, and the most draws, it’s been a fierce battle amongst the 19&U teams. Piuti Laban has starred for Casey Demons in her role as goal attack, shooting at 89% accuracy in their clash against the Saints.
