The Victorian Netball League will continue tonight for Round Four of the 2016 season at the State Netball and Hockey Centre in Parkville.
It has been a busy start to the season for the VNL competition with eight of the 10 championship teams set to play their third match in the space of a week.
The Boroondara Express and the Melbourne University Lightning are undefeated following three rounds.
The Express, led by goaler Ashlee Howard, currently leads the race for the MVP and Hot Shot award. Express will take on the Geelong Cougars on Wednesday.
The Cougars will need to find a way of curbing Howard’s influence on the court if they want to return to the winner’s list following their 13-goal defeat to the Lightning on Sunday.
The City West Falcons will look to cement a place inside the top four, as they chase their third win of the year against the Peninsula Waves. The Waves will be looking to end their run of two losses following successive defeats to Boroondara and the Monash University Storm.
The Storm face their biggest test taking on the undefeated Lightning on Sunday 1 May. Both sides are set to feature in a curtain-raiser prior to the ANZ Championship clash between the Melbourne Vixens and the WBOP Magic at Hisense Arena.
The Division one and 19/Under teams will both feature on Wednesday tonight.
In the other two Round Four fixtures, the ACU Sovereigns and the Yarra Valley Grammar Ariels will look to record their first victories of the season against DC North East Blaze and the Wilson Storage Southern Saints.
