Netball Victoria wishes to thank outgoing Board members Rob Muir and Rachel Piastri for their service and contribution to Victorian netball, and welcome Karen Cusack to the Board as the incoming Appointed Director.
Rob has been involved in community sport for close to 20 years as an athlete, umpire, coach and committee member, and leaves the Board after four years of service as an Appointed Director.
Since first taking the court as a 12-year-old, Rachel has devoted decades to netball as a player, coach, educator, volunteer and administrative leader, and leaves the Board after two years of service as an Appointed Director.
Karen has joined the Board from a law background and looks forward to bringing her strong legal and governance skills to the Victorian netball community. Karen is a senior lawyer with over 25 years’ experience and holds a Master of Law of Monash University. She is also a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, highlighting her vast level of experience in the corporate world.
