Netball Victoria Memberships are open for 2021! A friendly reminder to open your registration period and update your registration types for the 2021 season. Grants
$100 million Community Sports Infrastructure Loans Scheme (CSILS)
Closes 15th December 2020 (Closing date has been extended)
The 2020 CSILS will support the delivery of a new round of community sport and recreation infrastructure by providing organisations access to government guaranteed loans between $500,000 and $10 million. Successful applicants, delivering community sport and active recreation infrastructure that respond to issues identified in the sport and recreation industry and that contribute to the outcomes sought in the Active Victoria Strategic Framework will be granted low-interest loans though Treasury Corporation Victoria with Sport and Recreation Victoria subsidising interest repayments. Aboriginal Sport Participation Grant Program
Closes 20th December 2020
The Aboriginal Sport Participation Grant Program provides grants to assist Aboriginal Victorians to participate in Aboriginal sport carnivals, buy sports uniforms and equipment, as well as funding for travel and accommodation expenses for athletes to compete in state and national competitions.
CATEGORY 1: Aboriginal Sport Carnivals
Grants up to $1,500 for travel and accommodation costs for teams to compete in State-wide or National Carnivals.
CATEGORY 2: Uniforms or Equipment
Grants of up to $1,000 for individuals, teams, clubs and associations to purchase sporting uniforms and/or equipment.
CATEGORY 3: Athlete Participation Support
Grants of up to $750 for athletes and coaches to assist with travel and accommodation costs to compete or train in regional, state and national competitions or representative teams. For further details click here.
Budget Direct- Round 2
Round 2 Closes 31st December 2020
Striving to make a difference in your local community but need a financial leg-up? If your organisation is eligible, you can apply for a Budget Direct sponsorship of $1,000, $2,500, or $5,000. This one-off cash donation can be spent as your organisation sees fit. Click here for more details.
Tackling Tough Times Together (TTTT) Grants
Round 20 - Closes 25th February 2021
TTTT program gives drought affected communities across rural, regional and remote Australia the opportunity to access funds that benefit their immediate and long term needs. Grants are available for grassroots, community led initiatives that directly benefit local communities. For more details please click here.
Emergency Sporting Equipment Grant Program
Closes 30th June 2021
This grant provides assistance to grassroots sport and active recreation clubs and organisations to replace essential sporting or first aid equipment that has been lost or destroyed as a consequence of fire, flood, significant storm event, theft or criminal damage. Click here for full details.
Bushfire Recovery Grants for Community Facilities
Closes 30th June 2022
Bushfire Recovery Grants for Community Facilities have been established to support local organisations to repair and improve damaged or destroyed community facilities in fire affected communities. For further information please click here.
2021 NetSetGO registrations are open!
If you wish to be a NetSetGO Centre in 2021 you must submit a NetSetGO Centre application through MyNetball. Netball Victoria will review and approve applications within 3 business days. In order to submit your 2021 NetSetGO application, you will be required to tick “I agree for an invoice to cover the NetSetGO Licence Fee to be raised to the Centre as per the Terms and Conditions”. Please note your centre will not be charged a fee to run a NetSetGO program during 2021. This tick box will eventually be removed from MyNetball.

All Associations & Leagues must update their 2021 NetSetGO registration types & open their registration period. It is critical that each Association and League perform this update to ensure a smoother transition process into 2021. To find out how please click here.
Coaching and Umpiring Workshops
Umpiring and Coaching workshops are available online now! Workshops are available to all members of our workforce and can be found on the NV Calendar.
If you would like to organise an online workshop specifically for your association,contact workforce@netballvic.com.au (minimum attendance 10).
Bookings are also now available to host face-to-face sessions in 2021 (pending restrictions).

2021 Umpire Testers Meetings - Save the date
To comply with the Netball Victoria Endorsed Tester List, attendance at a Testers Meeting is required for anyone who is to be included on a testing panel in 2021. This includes any person who is a current Tester or plans on completing their cadet Tester training in 2021. For further information and complete criteria for inclusion on the Endorsed Tester List please click here. Registrations to open in January.
