Netball Victoria was advised today that this Wednesday 6 March, a WNBL final will be held at the State Netball Centre at 7pm.
This timing conflicts with the opening round of the Victorian Netball League season, meaning parking and venue access will be significantly affected with large crowds expected.
We’re working quickly to manage the impact of this on our stakeholders, including our VNL clubs and spectators.
Some match times and court allocations have been adjusted, and all changes have been communicated to clubs directly. The revised fixture can be viewed online: https://netb.al/48IWgJw
Given the challenges this isolated circumstance presents for our VNL audience, we’ve arranged livestreaming of 10 of the 11 matches at the centre so as many VNL games as possible can be viewed from home for this round.
The full broadcast schedule is being worked through and will be communicated in due course.
