Welcome to the Netball Victoria Child Safeguarding Resource Hub. You will find the Hub full of documents, guides, tools and templates all available for you to use to assist in creating a culture of Child Safety and ensuring you implement the 11 Child Safe Standards. The Hub is divided into areas relevant for specific user groups, ie Families & Carers or Committee & Volunteers which makes it easier for each group to find their relevant resources.
We appreciate there is a lot to review and you may not be certain where to start. We recommend starting here:
- with the Child Safeguarding Introductory Checklist. This document outlines simple steps you can implement to meet the compliance criteria of the new Child Safe Standards. Throughout the document you will see links to relevant resources you can reference for full details.
- the Child Safety Comprehensive Review Template. This document is for organisations that are then ready to take a more widespread view of their progress towards meeting the Child Safe Standards.
