Netball Victoria and the Melbourne Vixens are proud to announce a new partnership with Bupa.
The new partnership, commencing at the start of the 2018 season, will see Bupa become the naming rights sponsor for the Victorian Netball League (VNL) for the next three years.
As one of Australia’s leading health and care companies, the commitment Bupa has shown to netball across the state at a grassroots level will allow the development and continued pathway for talented female athletes.
The Bupa VNL has been the premier netball competition in Victoria since its induction in 2009. It is currently made up of 10 teams which play across three tiers of competition – Championship, Division 1 and 19 and Under.
Netball Victoria Chief Executive Officer, Rosie King said Bupa joining the Netball Victoria family is an exciting opportunity for our sport.
“It’s great to partner with a company that is so committed to developing female sport from a grassroots level,” said Ms King.
“This will also provide a significant benefit and support to the many female athletes currently involved in the talent pathways.”
Bupa Australia’s Lucy Coggan said the new partnership strongly aligns with Bupa’s commitment to helping people live longer, healthier, happier lives.

The 2018 Bupa VNL season begins on Sunday 29 April at the State Netball & Hockey Centre.
