Football Netball League Club Training
As Round 1 of Football Netball League competitions are fast approaching, Netball Victoria have been administering ‘Match Day’ club training. If your League’s clubs are yet to complete an online training session with a Netball Victoria representative, please get in contact with your Netball Victoria Participation Team member.

Recent System Updates
Match Day Module
- Manual Score Entry into Match Day (at Competition Organiser and Affiliate level). Can be administered using ‘Bulk Scores Upload’ and the ‘Statistics’ slide bar after selecting a Match ID.
- Media Report generation available via Match Day module. Click here for more.
- Best on Court votes Click here for more.
- Updated ‘Match Sheets’, now includes ‘fixture2’, which generates larger text and omits the MVP box.
- For competitions that have been setup with registrations, the ‘Add Player’ section of the Match Day module has been removed.
- This is to ensure that all participants have purchased a Netball Victoria Membership and are insured
- Coaches and Managers that have been allocated to teams via the Match Day module can now be removed from a team.
Exporting data
An ‘example line’ has been implemented in every available data export. Match Day ‘Matches’ export now includes a ‘Rounds’ column
Others
You can now link the Netball Connect Shop Module to your website. Select the Shop Module > select ‘Settings’ > Link the URL into your website

School Community Coaches
Netball Victoria is looking to recruit casual school Community Coaches! Coaches act as netball ambassadors within their local schools and community. The position engages in the delivery of netball programs, such as Sporting Schools and community clinics.
Key Duties:
- Design basic netball session plans using Netball Victoria’s coach resources.
- Deliver Netball Victoria endorsed community events and school programs.
- Act as an ambassador for Netball Victoria and the sport of Netball.
Requirements:
- Foundation Coach Accreditation (minimum)
- Demonstrated coaching experience
- Valid Working with Children’s Check
- Valid Driver’s License
Schools Community Coaches are contacted when opportunities to coach netball in their area are available. Opportunities can range from one-hour weekly sessions to multiple full days across four weeks.
This is a PAID position. Coaches are paid $50 per hour of delivery. Please note travel is not included.
We are desperately seeking coaches to start immediately, therefore please contact schools@netballvic.com.au or 9321 2244/9321 2250 if you are interested in becoming a Schools Community Coach.

'Sports Community' webinar series
Netball Victoria has partnered with Sports Community to deliver a range of educational webinars, based upon relevant topics to the sporting community. The webinars will start next Tuesday 29th March, with a 3-part Webinar Series on the topic “Recruiting Players and Participants in a COVID Environment”.
These webinars are usually $39.95 per session, however through the partnership with Sports Community, Netball Victoria Affiliates will be able to access webinars for FREE! Please note that the discount code can only be used by Netball Victoria Affiliates (our Associations and Leagues) and are not transferrable.
Attached is a copy of the program containing all of the Webinar Series topics, which will run from March through to November 2022.

Child Safety
Please note there will be a disruption to the resources in the child safety hub as we update them in preparation for the new standards that come into effect on the 1st of July 2022. Keep an eye out for the upcoming training session in June that will give you time to plan, prepare and comply with these changes. For further information on the changes please click here.

Netball Connect allows Associations and Leagues the opportunity to display one advertising banner for each competition they run. The Sponsor’s Banner rotates on the Netball Connect app when a participant is viewing fixtures, ladders, etc for your nominated competition.
