Netball Victoria is running a ‘Dare to Develop a Diamond’ course available to ALL coaches before the season begins on Saturday 28 January at the State Netball Hockey Centre.
The Dare to Develop a Diamond Program is delivered to all Zone Academy athletes, preparing athletes for the next level, from 11/U upwards, with the aim to develop and correct individual athlete technique in fundamental skills that underpin the ability to execute the skills of netball under pressure, speed, and fatigue.
Coaches looking to enhance their skills to assist developing athletes are encouraged to participate in this program. It will be a great advantage for development coaches, strength and conditioning coaches, and Association Representative team coaches,to start implementing this program to ensure all Victorian athletes are being given the chance to develop their physical foundations on which to base their elite skills.
